About Us

Lambda Psi Brothers

Our Purpose

Delta Sigma Pi is a professional fraternity organized to foster the study of business in universities; to encourage scholarship, social activity and the association of students for their mutual advancement by research and practice; to promote closer affiliation between the commercial world and students of commerce, and to further a higher standard of commercial ethics and culture and the civic and commercial welfare of the community.

Lambda Psi is a collegiate chapter of the national business fraternity Delta Sigma Pi, for men and women pursuing careers in business. Lambda Psi was established on April 22, 1989 at the University of Hawai'i at Hilo. We currently have 23 collegiate and 377 alumni members who graduated with degrees in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Finance, Accounting, and Management.

Our Core Values

We offer a rigorous program of professional development for our members, including travel opportunities for leadership training and conferences, frequent events with business and culutural leaders, and nationwide internship & job opportunities.

Members are groomed to be leaders and continue to grow their leadership skills throughout their careers through high quality training, national conferences, and holding local or national office positions.

Deltasigs learn how to cultivate an attitude of service to local communities, support the cultural and civic organizations, and impact the lives of individuals and families wherever they live.

Brotherhood & Networking

Lambda Psi is not just a chapter of Delta Sigma Pi, it is a family. As part of a network with over 350 alumni member and 265,000 national initiates, it is assured that our members will make connections with other collegiate and alumni members, wherever they go.

Diversity & Ethics

As the nation's first co-ed business fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi is committed to diversity. We believe that individuals and organizations benefit from a wide rand of perspectives. Within the fraternity we cultivate a culture of respect that allows us to broaden our viewpoints, making us stronger and more effective leaders in our fields.
