Lambda Psi employs a rigorous program of professional development for our members, as it is our main goal to develop our members professionally. We host a variety of professional events, such as guest speakers, workshops, and company tours. Guest Speakers & Mixers

During the academic year Lambda Psi invites multiple guest speakers in and they cover a variety of topics to help our members gain insight with professional advice. Topics that we often cover includes entrepreneurial stories, financial management, and professional attire. 

We often host mixers and networking events with other students, professionals, professors, and alumni to allow our members the opportunity to network and create professional relationships.

WorkShops, Fairs & Mentorships

In the past Lambda Psi has worked with UH Hilo's ALEX program and the College of Business & Economics to host job & internship fairs, as well as mentorships and workshops. Our recent Spring 2017 fair brought in about 40 internship and job opportunities. 

Our members also attend and participate in workshops and career programs not hosted by our chapter. This has included resume workshops and mock interviews.

Company Tours

Lambda Psi has had the opportunity to tour companies such as WikiFRESH and Mehana Brewery. These tours has given our members the opportunity to see how business run first hand and allows for questions and advice from employees regarding future employment.

National Leadership Conferences

Delta Sigma Pi offers a variety of events and programs that provide opportunities for Delta Sigma Pi members to maximize their potential in professional leadership, Fraternity operations, and personal life. 

Leadership and Excellence Academies for Deltasigs (LEAD events) offers training for Deltasigs and provides great opportunities to serve and build lifelong friendships.

Grand Chapter Congress sessions include leadership training applicable to chapter and fraternity management, but also to personal and professional life.

Past LEAD events have taken place in Seattle, Syracuse, and Denver; just to name a few. For more information visit dsp.org.

Delta Sigma Pi members are given chances and opportunities to intern at various companies in Hawaii, out of state, and even internationally. These internships and jobs are not only marketing positions but are also suitable for finance, accounting, and management majors alike.

UH Hilo College of Business & Economics

UH Hilo’s College of Business and Economics (CoBE) offers one of only two AACSB-accredited business administration degree programs in the State of Hawaiʻi. The college provides various resources to students, including their Career Development Program and Mentorship Program.
